My Bio
Unlike alot of other artists, I haven't been drawing since I was 4. I'm self taught and have only been serious about drawing for a few years (not counting my 10+ years in t-shirt production art). I love print-making. There is something special about printing your own designs.
I am very new to comics. I wanted a new challenge beyond print making and decided to try making comics in only the last year.

I created Smithee Zombie Hunter and so far have done a Zine with him. I'm getting ready to do SZH #2 involving a Ware-Wolf. I'm getting my feet wet with Zines before I commit to a full comic.

I have been contemplating why I draw. I'm not that good, I have ALOT to learn. But I keep on learning, accepting what it is I can do and sharing it. One reason I do that is because of my mother. She was a very gifted sketch artist and piano player. Her artistic talents inspired me. But the tragedy of her life is her constant belittling of herself made it next to impossible for her to appreciate the gifts she had been given. She took no risks with her talents. She never shared her work with anyone outside the family. I find that quite sad. I tried the music thing, but never got very far because I chose to belittle myself and be really pe

OK, this isn't the most indepth review of the century, but here goes! I uploaded a drawing I did with the pen tonight just for fun. Also for my upcoming Smithee Zombie Hunter #2. Need to learn to draw good zombies and all. Anyway, the Kupen is great. It bridges that gap between using a tablet and a ink pen. With a tablet you don't leave marks on the tablet, you have to go between the screen and the pad. But this pen has an actual ink pen insert so you see what you are doing as you are doing it on the paper. The receiver clips to your 8.5 X 11 page (not entirely easy to do) and tracks what the pen does pretty well. The pen is cordless, so it

well, now that I'm diving more into comics drawing, I thought it might help to get graphics tablet of some kind. What I ended up ordering today is called a Kanvus KuPen Air Digital Pen. Now I haven't shopped that in depth for tablets in a long time, and technology certainly has come a long way. Now they make things called digital pens which act like tablets in that they record what you write/draw in front of a receiver device that tracks the pen and records what you do. "Simply clip the receiver unit on the writing surface, turn on the unit and write. From Paper to Digital Formats Scribble on any paper, transfer files into your computer and
